How to make email marketing work for you

Your semi-regular reminder that whilst social media is great, email marketing is even better!

With algorithms, platform ownership and trends changing by the minute sometimes, having a way to contact your customers and clients that is reliable is essential.

So with all that in mind, here are a few tips for making sure that email marketing works for you:

✉ Send emails consistently on a schedule that works for you.

There’s no point wanting to send emails weekly if you don’t have time to do so! Get into a rhythm that fits in with everything else happening in your life and business.

✉ Use all the features that your email platform has.

Segments, tags, open/click rates… they may sound like a lot, but once you get a grip on what they are, they can be incredibly useful for planning your marketing. Get nerdy about the stats, they’re there to help you!

✉ Have templates!

Design a template you like - lots of email providers are super easy to use - and then just use that for all your emails. Not only will it mean all your messages look consistent, it saves you a lot of time too!
