Our small business recommendations
Since the start of the pandemic there has been a real explosion of small businesses but it can be challenging for them to reach the masses that the big corporations are able to, especially at the start of a new year. With that in mind, I thought I would take the opportunity to write a blog specifically focusing on giving a shoutout to some of my favourite small businesses.
Golden Hour Company – there are a couple of essentials I need before I sit down and crack on with my work each day, these include a good, hot brew and one of Golden Hour Co insane candles. If you are anything like me and love an incredible scented candle then be sure to go and check out Golden Hour Co now – I promise you won’t regret it.
Biddy and Bear – kid clothing is so much cooler now than when I was growing up but Biddy and Bear raise kids clothing to a whole new level – not only do they have some of the most fabulous prints but they are so perfectly handmade. I know when my little girl is older and looks back at photos of herself, she will be chuffed that I dressed her in some of Biddy and Bear’s cracking outfits!
The Beauty Assembly – self-care comes in many forms but for me, taking time out to go and get my nails done is just the best. The Beauty Assembly is local to me and I am so thankful that they are – not only are the designs absolutely cracking but the team that works there are so lovely. In fact, I’m going to book myself in right now!
Mizz Knits – if it were acceptable to hibernate as a human I would first raid Mizz Knits as their hand knitted blankets, wreaths and cushions are ah-ma-zing – not only are they seriously cosy but they look super, super cool!
Bunty May Makes – do you ever look at something and think, gosh I wish I was clever enough to make something like that? Bunty May Makes paper sculptures make me think exactly this! If you haven’t checked them out already, go now and feast your eyes on all their delights!
