Let’s talk about strategy

Wtf does strategy even mean?

Whether you’re reading this at the start of the year, the end of the year, or maybe somewhere in between, you very likely have set goals that you’re looking to achieve during this calendar year. How are you feeling about them? Do they still feel relevant or achievable? Or are they feeling a little vague and unrealistic?

If you’re feeling a bit iffy about them, you may need to take a relook at your strategy. But what even is strategy?

Strategy is how we make your big goals happen

It may sound like an annoying bro marketing buzzword, but when we break it down, strategy is all the practical stuff behind your goals.

So, for example, say you’ve set a goal to make more sales in your business this month. How exactly are you going to do it?

Things you may need to think about are…

- How you’re going to market yourself - are you going to use social media? Or email newsletters? Or your website? Or maybe offline entirely?

- What does the pricing for your services look like? What’s included in it?

- What makes you different from other people in your industry?

- How can you focus on what you’re good at and potentially outsource things you’re not so good at?

- Can you collaborate with other business owners to spread the word about what you’re doing?

- How do people buy from you? Is it easy for people to buy from you?

Strategy is a big area of business, and it can feel incredibly overwhelming to think about so many moving parts of your business!

But break it down into small bits, remember it’ll be constantly evolving as your business does, and give different things a go! You’ve got this!
