Let’s talk about… using templates

Oh I just LOVE a template!

Without reeeally thinking about it, I realised that I use templates in the following places (for myself and clients):
- Emails
- CRM
- Social media
- Newsletters
- Podcasts

Templates are great. You can use them in your emails to say something that you might regularly have to email out to potential clients, like signposting them to booking in an initial call with you, or explaining how to book a power hour with you.

In your CRM, you might use templates for canned emails (a kind of similar process to the above, perhaps to ask for a meeting or a testimonial), or to onboard a new client.

When it comes to social media, you might have a graphics template that you use regularly and change up the colours (hello!) or you might have a social media planner template that you use.

For newsletters, I love creating a template for my clients to use so we have a regular process to follow and can write the copy to fit a set format in each edition. This saves so much time for both me and my clients!

Having a template for a podcast is super handy too - this way we know the order of things e.g. main podcast intro > episode intro > interview > podcast outro.

If you have templates set up, you will naturally be more efficient at the task in hand because you're not spending as much time thinking 'what do I do now?!' because you'll know what to do - you've got a template for it! And you can use templates in so many different places in your business

And if you don't have templates set up, but you would like some? Well, you know where we are!
